In this busy life, we hardly get time to give to our spouses or children. Most of us do not get time to visit our parents, grand parents’ houses. With much difficulty we extract sometime for ourselves to sleep. We feel job stress that not only affects our domestic life but our professional life as well. We do not give proper attention to our children, spouses, brothers and sisters due to our hectic busy routine. It gives rise to family conflicts as well. Whenever we get some summer, winter or Christmas holidays we spend them in our houses watching television.
When we spend our vacations in house, we just pass our time. Family issues still remain the same. We do not get satisfaction. Parents, brothers, sisters also complain about not giving time to them. Even if you try to meet them in your vacations, you cannot do so because they are living in scattered places and you cannot meet them in 3, 4 days. What to do now?
We have solution for it. You can arrange a family reunion at some beautiful hilly area. Everyone in your family will be invited there. Presence of your brothers, sisters, your children, their children, brothers and sisters of your parents and your cousins will give you memorable moments of life. You can not only spend your vacations in most effective way but also it will remove the complaints of all your family members of not giving them time. It will provide a sense of satisfaction to your mind that will positively affect your professional life. You can repeat such family reunion programs annually or six monthly basis.
There are many ways to reunion your family. Some Ideas for family reunion are also mentioned below. You can arrange any or all of them at once. If you arrange all of them you will really enjoy it. Just imagine, all of your family members are gathered in a large, vast and beautiful house in some hilly area. You are enjoying boating, hiking trails, sports fields, golf courses and even a lodge for a more formal dinner. You are playing games and celebrating parties there. It will be a real fun.
Picnic
This is fairly simple to host and relatively inexpensive. You can go to some hilly area where you can stay many days. All the families can take care of their own food or the house provider can also provide you food. You can play games there, this event works for people from 4 to 94
The camp out – if your family loves the outdoors, consider a camping trip. Many families prefer staying in a cabin or a big house. Make sure your chosen house is at a good location and large enough to enjoy at your full.
The special occasion – a special occasion can be the reason to gather e.g. Grand father’s 90th birthday, grandma and grandpa’s 60th anniversary, etc. These are usually big events that require hotel reservations of big houses and planning for several meals. Such type of events really becomes good memories so if you will arrange them in big houses it will really become a good way to celebrate your occasion.
If you are getting together in big houses where you can enjoy everything you want you can plan such type of activities there as well.
Certificates and awards
- The oldest and youngest family members
- Who traveled the least and greatest distances to attend
- Who has attended the most consecutive reunions
- Youngest grandparents
- Couple with the most children or grandchildren
- Who can stand on their hands (or head) the longest
In family reunion you can also work on following ideas. But this is possible only when you have a house in some hilly and beautiful place. If you do not have any house in such area you can hire it at very reasonable price.
